LYRA, an a cappella group of four professional singers from St. Petersburg, Russia, will present a concert of Russian choral music at All Saints’ Memorial Church.  The first part of the concert – sacred music of the Russian Orthodox Church, will include ancient songs, works of famous masters, and little-known but remarkable Russian composers of 18 – 20 centuries. The second part of their program will include Russian folk songs: comic, lyric, dancing, and love songs.  This is a unique opportunity to experience the rich Russian musical heritage.  Come and enjoy the sounds of Russia.  All of the singers are professionals from choirs and opera houses in St. Petersburg.  One recent concert attendee wrote, “they have the voices of angels.”
