The Village Green was constructed by the Hazard Family in 1909 as a playground and green space for mill workers and the area community. With its location adjacent to the Neighborhood Guild, a variety of concerts, festivals and other special events are conducted on the Village Green. The area contains two playground structures, tot and regular swings, green space, and two tennis courts. Indian Run Brook borders the southern edge of the Village Green.
