Hatch Entrepreneurial Center

The mission of the Hatch Entrepreneurial Center is to provide an environment that will foster entrepreneurship in Rhode Island. Located in downtown Providence, the center will provide facilities, conference rooms, and meeting spaces for early-stage companies. There will be opportunities for entrepreneurs to meet and review business plans, discuss operational issues with other start-ups and connect with mentors in the areas of accounting, finance, international business, law, marketing and management. In addition to the nonprofit operation, there also will be a for-profit component that will provide seed capital to eligible companies who have reached the next stage of growth and development.

Hatch also provides resources to entrepreneurs through a partnership with the Rhode Island Small Business Development Center, Hatch Entrepreneurial Center will offer early-stage companies business advisory services, mentoring by experienced business people, access to capital and connections to business leaders in the state and the region as well as office facilities.
