FabNewport is Newport’s Premier Makerspace and Community STEM education center.

FabNewport operates FabLab at the Florence Gray Center in Newport, Rhode Island. We are interested in empowering learners t.o master powerful technology and develop a growth mindset. Our practice is grounded in the notion that learning occurs through “play,” Play grows into passion and passion leads to purpose. Purpose being that natural desire to connect with the world with what you are passionate about.

Presently we work with the East Bay Met School, the Newport Public Library, the Jamestown Arts Center, All Saints Academy, the Newport County Boys and Girls Clubs, the Jamestown Schools and area Home Schoolers.
