Presented by InDowncity and Cornish Associates, Movies on the Block is the city's only outdoor movie theatre!

Movies are shown every Thursday evening, June to September, at sundown at Grant's Block (260 Westminster Street). Here are a few things to keep in mind before visiting:

• The screenings are weather dependent. Any moisture is bad for the health of our projector, cancellations and rescheduled films will be announced on the Movies on the Block Facebook page and via the Indowncity Twitter feed. We we are able to reschedule, we do so for the following day.
• Much like a trip to the beach, we do not provide seating. Please come prepared with a blanket or beach chairs. Benches are limited and on a 'first come, first serve' basis.
• Come early- space is limited and fills up quickly. If you want primo seating, get some to-go from a downtown restaurant (@InDowncityPVD can help you out with some suggestions!) and dine with us at Grant's Block.
• We do not recommend bringing pets. Whilst we love a friendly pup, this is a public event that often gets quite crowded. For the safety and comfort of all guests, we ask that you leave fido behind.
