In 1983, the North Kingstown Town Council created the Arts Council for the purpose of sponsoring and supporting arts and culture programs in our community.  Today, the Arts Council is a strong, highly visible organization that holds a prominent place in the life of North Kingstown.The Arts Council is comprised of 13 volunteer members who are appointed for two year terms by the North Kingstown Town Council.

The Arts Council meets on the second Wednesday of every month.  The meetings are held at 7:00 pm in the Beechwood Center.  The meeting dates, agenda, and minutes are available on the North Kingstown town website.
