Looking Upwards is a nonprofit agency, that supports adults with developmental disabilities and children with diverse needs to live fulfilling lives. Founded in 1978, we provide services for more than 700 children, adults and families throughout Rhode Island. The Newport Arts Festival is a juried show featuring the work of 65 national and regional artists, many from Rhode Island. This it the 5th anniversary of the festival and it is our cornerstone fundraising event, supporting Looking Upwards’ mission. d in 1978.
