The Blackstone River Theatre (BRT), a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit cultural arts center where the music, dance and folk arts traditions of the Blackstone River Valley come to life, celebrated its 10th anniversary in September, 2010! With an emphasis on the ethnic groups that settled in the Blackstone Valley, BRT presents weekly world and roots music concerts, monthly dances and children’s events, as well as special events on a year-round basis. Blackstone River Theatre is proud to have received the 2005 Blackstone Valley Governor’s Award for Tourism.
