"Site-Specific Theater?"

If you are looking to "sit back and relax," our theater is not for you. Theater of Thought entertains in a way that challenges the audience. Site-specific theater immerses the audience in a full sensory experience. Be a part of the production, and share your thoughts at our post-show discussion.

"What are you talking about?"

For example, our first site-specific production was TAPE by Stephen Belber. This show is set in a hotel room, therefore, our audience members checked in at the front desk of The Lighthouse Inn, where they were sent to a room already alive with the story being told. Audience members had the choice to sit in the room with the actors. The other option played on one of the themes of the show, surveillance. Audience members may also choose to view the show through the large pane windows while seated in the interior courtyard and listening through the wire tap playing through the speakers.
