Providence Poetry Slam runs events three times a month to support the art of spoken word in Rhode Island. We hold open mics for poets and musicians, host poetry slams, bring in featured poets from all over the country, conduct writing workshops, and facilitate other exciting poetry events. All are invited to attend and participate. The poets at Providence Slam are nationally recognized and respected, and have qualified for semi-finals and finals stage at national competitions on multiple occasions. All events are held at AS220.
