Fiber in the Present Tense

Fiber in the Present Tense

Presented by Slater Mill at Slater Mill

Held in Old Slater Mill, the cotton-mill-turned-museum widely recognized as birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Fiber in the Present Tense is a refreshing, evocative, and virtuosic exhibition of contemporary surface design. Slater Mill partners with the MA-RI Chapter of the Surface Design Association to bring the exhibit to the heart of Downtown Pawtucket. Displaying a wide range of mediums, styles, and themes, the exhibition shows the diversity and sophistication of the Massachusetts/Rhode Island regional fiber arts community.
