G.I. Bazaar

G.I. Bazaar

Presented by G.I. Bazaar at Hope Artiste Village

The G.I. Bazaar is pleased to announce their first annual maker’s market at Hope Artiste Village. The market is the first of it’s kind in the New England area and will feature a juried selection of handmade goods from up to 50 artisans and crafters while showcasing the work of local Military Veterans and Spouses.

The G.I. Bazaar was founded by Army Veteran Brandie Leach (Owner/Designer/Maker of RetroStitch; an eclectic collection of handcrafted handbags) and military spouse Emily Ruehrwein (owner of Ali Grey Shop; jewelry specializing in faux druzy earrings and adult friendship bracelets).  They were inspired to create a marketplace providing  a new platform for military veterans whose craftsmanship and efforts could be appreciated and supported by those in the community they’ve once protected. Leach personally used creative expression as her form of therapy and hopes to encourage and connect with those who share a similar story.

The G.I. Bazaar is also committed to partnering with local Veteran-focused nonprofit organizations who play a vital role in the transitioning, adapting, and healing of our Military Veterans and their families such as Paralyzed Veterans of America.  PVA dedicates themselves to bettering the lives of our nation’s veterans through education resources, job assistance and much more!
