Watch The Lorax under the stars and beside the cool breezes of Mashapaug Pond at JT Owens Park in Providence. Artist Holly Ewald will visually share her journey to designing Full Circle: Art as Reflection, a floating sculpture/film screen support. Geologist Will Daniels will demonstrate water and sediment sampling that help tell the ecological story of Mashapaug Pond. Stories of the pond shared by those who have lived by and loved this large natural water body will set the stage for bringing the message of The Lorax home to those who want to see “Mash” as a place for families and recreation once again. Come to this free community event to learn how you can help revitalize this treasured site.
