Poppy Champlin is a nationally known professional comedian. A Rhode Island native with a BFA from URI Theatre, her credits include HBO, Showtime, Comedy Central, Oprah and Joan Rivers. Poppy has opened for such comics as Ray Romano, Denis Leary, Bill Maher, Bill Hicks and Rosie ODonnell. Her club appearances range from Gotham Comedy Club in NYC, the Comedy Cellar and The Improv. She Produces her own touring show called The Queer Queens of Qomedy and travels across the country with it. She also performs on cruise ships. Poppy is bringing a few students from her comedy classes to perform their monologues.
