Providence Public Library is offering free guided architectural tours of its historic library building on every first and third Tuesday of the month. The Library opened its classic Venetian Renaissance building in March 1900. Now on the National Register of Historic Places, the Library is a prime example of turn-of-the-century (Gilded Age) American architecture. Visit & learn about this architectural gem at the heart of our community, as well as our unique Special & Rhode Island Collections.
