BRISTOL COUNTY CHORUS 41st CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The Bristol County Chorus will present their 41st annual Christmas concert on Sunday, Dec 11 at St. Mary’s Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol, RI, at 3:00 PM. The Chorus, accompanied by a professional chamber orchestra, will be conducted by Director of Music Nicholas Rocha. Presenting, “Do You Hear What I Hear?” – the program features festive, colorful holiday music, including excerpts from Handel’s Messiah, and Dan Forrest’s arrangement of The Huron Carol. Mr. Rocha enters his fifth year as director of the ensemble, which he has served in various capacities since 2014. He is also artistic director for the Oure Pleasure Singers of Attleboro, the assistant conductor and accompanist for the Rhode Island Civic Chorale and Orchestra (RICCO), and is also an organist for three Rhode Island churches: Holy Angels Church, St. Sebastian’s, and St. Margaret’s.
Masks are not required for the event, but are recommended; the chorus will not be masked. Tickets are $20.00 in advance, and $25.00 at the door, and are available locally at the George Hail Library in Warren, at Paper Packaging and Panache in Bristol, and online through brownpapertickets.com.
