As the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly celebrates its 30th year of sharing art with its community, the artists celebrate the beauty of the “Coast, Wind & Water” that surrounds and inspires them.
This month’s show dazzles with art that captures the wonder of our region’s natural scenery. Come see, and meet the artists, at the show’s Opening Reception – Friday, July 1st, from 5 to 8PM.
Featured artist Christine Reilly experienced the healing nature of art during the pandemic. She explores composition and color, hope and choice, through evocative oil painting, oil and cold wax, and collage.
Inspired by nature, featured photographer Ed Porter captures his images in early morning or evening, exploring light, mood and color in his atmospheric land- and seascapes.
