Every year at move out, an incredible volume of unwanted items are discarded.  Dumpsters outside and inside residence halls are filled to the brim.  RISD FLIPS helps keep these items out of the landfill with the yearly collection and yard sale.

The sale funds the staff council student scholarship. We are actively working to help reduce the amount of waste generated on campus when students move out after the spring semester. Any items not sold will be donated to charity.
