Stop by to see an amazing collection of Asian, African, and Oceanic art from the Justin Bibee Collection, which seeks to inspire curiosity about the world’s cultures by collecting, conserving, and exhibiting works of ethnographic art.
This Spring, works from the Justin Bibee Collection will be given their first in-person exhibition at the Warwick Public Library in Rhode Island. The show presents a sampling of African, Asian, and Oceanic art, including an A-Tshol headdress, a Baule Goli mask, a bronze Ife head and a beaded Bamum mask, to name a few.
Justin Bibee is a human rights advocate whose work takes him to remote places around the world. Throughout his work and travels, Bibee has collected art. In 2020, he founded the Justin Bibee Collection, bringing together all pieces to create exhibitions and gallery shows for the general public.
