Out of the Rabbit Hole: a celebration of creative research

Out of the Rabbit Hole: a celebration of creative research

Presented by Community Libraries of Providence at Online/Virtual Space

Watch in awe as your friends, family, and neighbors emerge from the deep berry thicket of everyday weirdness. What’s that they’re holding? Discoveries from their month of creative research and journeys INTO THE RABBIT HOLE with artist MJ Robinson! Join us during this virtual celebration to learn about the juicy inspiration they’ve found. And be careful where you step— there are rabbit holes everywhere.

MJ Robinson, is an illustrator and multidisciplinary artist in the school of everyday weirdness (ew school). Their stories, drawings, and comics create portals into real and imagined worlds for kids of all ages. Lately, MJ is inspired by nature, local histories and futures, miniatures, folklore, and ghost stories. In their work as an educator and community organizer, MJ encourages playful creative visioning in movements for social justice—with a particular focus on racial and environmental justice, and LGBTQIA2S+ joy and well-being in Providence, RI and beyond. Follow their adventures at mj-robinson.com.
