This year, the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery of Westerly celebrates 30 years of sharing art in our beautiful coastal community. Reflecting the quiet magic of winter in our local area, February’s show “Environment – Between Sea and Sky”.
Come meet the artists during the show’s Opening Reception, Friday, February 4th from 5-8 PM. And please wear red – to raise awareness during American Heart Month on National Wear Red Day.
In mixed media, featured artist Janet Maher creates organic abstract images reflecting her concerns, and hopes, for the future for our planet. Featured artist John Craig’s improvisational abstract work combines acrylic and oil painting with digital photography to explore the wide range of human emotion.
