In Worldlab, participants will work together to design their own planet with unique geography, creatures, and politics. Students will use improv, devising, playwriting, and physical theater techniques to create this theatrical world. Through this process, young artists will build skills in personal expression, narrative building, and collaboration.

Playlab Youth (Grades 6 – 8)

In Playlab Youth we will explore the question: what is a play, really? Students will use improv, devising, playwriting, and physical theater techniques to explore various play forms. Young artists will learn to theatricalize their personal experiences and share stories about topics that fuel their passions.

Playlab Marathon (Teens)

Thursday 9am – 9pm with a performance at 8pm!

Playlab Marathon participants will create a devised performance in just one day! In a morning of spontaneous, fast-paced creativity, students will use improv, devising, playwriting, and physical theater techniques to create a series of short plays. In the afternoon, we will revise and polish these pieces to prepare for an evening showcase of freshly baked plays.
