Jorge Cardenas: In Remembrance and Celebration – A Life of Community Service in Hispanic Heritage Month Exhibition September 1-30 2021, Gallery Night Reception & presentations September 16th 5-9pm.
This exhibit is presented to commemorate the life and impact of Jorge F Cardenas (April 1949-November 2020), who was born in Callao, Peru and emigrated with his family to Rhode Island in 1993. Jorge dedicating more than 28 years here to improving the lives of his family, community artists and musicians, and to school children and youth in Providence, Rhode Island.  Community artists, poets, musicians and dancers have come together to share their art and deep appreciation to the memory of Mr. Cardenas who improve the lives of all those around him.
