The Latinx Vote in 2020

Presented by Center for the Study of Race and Ethnicity in America at Brown University at Online/Virtual Space

As we reflect on the voter turnout and voting patterns of the 2020 presidential election, a critical element is the complexity of the Latinx vote. What role did Trump’s immigration narrative and policy play in Latinx voting patterns? How did younger voters engage to generate turnout? What are some political fault-lines within the Latinx community reflected in the strong support of Trump among some Latinx voters? This roundtable discussion features a panel of experts who will reflect on this historic election and the important role of the Latinx community in paving the future direction of U.S. leadership.
