AUDITION TECHNIQUES FOR BIPOC ACTORS

Presented by Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre at The Gamm Theatre

AUDITION TECHNIQUES FOR BIPOC ACTORS
January 4 – February 8
6 ONLINE Sessions
Mondays 6:30pm-8:30pm
Instructor: Alexis Ingram
Tuition: $160

This class is designed to empower BIPOC actors looking to gain experience with the Equity and Non-Equity audition and callback process. Students will work on commanding the room, analysis of production seasons, the development of techniques for monologue selection, and zeroing in on roles while staying true to themselves. This class is for beginners and seasoned BIPOC actors to hone the work they want to be doing, with a lens on navigating traditionally white supremacist theatrical systems.  Please prepare a monologue to be performed on the first day of class. Once registered, students should submit a headshot and resume (if available-not required!) to the instructor. A zoom link will be provided by the first day of class.
