Please join us online for a two set concert to raise funds to Save The Parlour! This event takes place on Saturday, September 26 from 3-6 PM and will be broadcast on Facebook Live from our Facebook page – https://www.facebook.com/ProfessorRoots .
We are asking people to contribute online to the GoFundMe ‘Save The Parlour’ by clicking on gofundme.com/f/save-the-parlour. We are also looking for 10 people to step up as sponsors and contribute $100 as sponsors for this event.
The Parlour, located at 1119 N. Main Street in Providence, is the only Black-Owned performance venue and Pub on the East Side committed to live music every night of the week. Rock and Reggae, Jazz, Funk and Folk, Open Mic and Karaoke, it is a meeting space encouraging a diverse community of young musicians and old friends. And this venue is under serious threat of permanent closure without your help.

We will begin setup at 12 noon by putting up all kinds of COVID signs and info to people coming with their chairs. When the show ends at 6 PM, we should be fully done breaking down everything by 6:30 PM.
