WaterFire is committed to transforming place and building community. Recently, our staff has been focused on creating new and safe events inside and outside the WaterFire Arts Center. ART MART is a new outdoor pop-up art market that aims to support and connect artists with the community by providing a safe venue to sell their work.

Mask wearing and physical distancing (6′ away!) is required of everyone – at all times. ART MART is a smaller scale market allowing for more space between artist tents and for visitors. Free parking is available in the ALCO parking lots adjacent to the WaterFire Arts Center, 475 Valley Street. The entrance and exit will be set-up for one-way traffic. All vendors, staff, volunteers, and visitors need to answer COVID-19 pre-screening questions before entering. (Here’s a helpful guide from the Governor’s REOPENING RI plan.)

ART MART will be held outside the WaterFire Arts Center for a 2-day market on Saturday, September 19, and Sunday, September 20 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Twenty local artists will be selling their original, handcrafted, and affordable art. Shop and support local artists and WaterFire by coming to buy art!

The store and gallery at the WaterFire Arts Center are open weekly Wednesday through Saturdays, Noon to 6:00 p.m. On Saturdays, when we have a scheduled Art Mart, the store and gallery will open early at 10:00 a.m.
