On August 29th and August 30th, the Newport String Project and the Newport Art Museum collaborate to present “One to One: two days of micro-concerts featuring one musician and listener”.
In collaboration with the Museum’s current exhibition “Complex Terrain(s)”, the micro-concerts will take place at various outdoor locations around the Newport Art Museum’s campus.
Concert-goers can reserve their fifteen minute personalized performance with an NSP musician by signing up online (https://calendly.com/newportstringproject/nsp-one-to-one?month=2020-08) or stopping by in person. Musicians and listeners will wear masks and be physically distanced.
These micro-concerts are offered freely as part of NSP’s mission to make chamber music accessible for all in Newport. There is no expectation of donation, although contributions in support of NSP’s mission can be made online or in person.
After each performance, listeners are invited to a mini Guided Tour of “Complex Terrain(s)”, free with Museum admission.
