An original play by Thomas Edwards ’20. Corruption in small town America fueled by one man’s desire for power to control those around him. Loyalty is everything and the truth is feared. There is no good and evil, only humanity.
The Providence College Department of Theatre, Dance & Film (PC TDF) presents Beasts, an original play written by current PC senior Thomas Edwards and directed by John Garrity (associate professor of theatre).
Beasts marks the first time an original student-written work will be presented as part of the PC TDF mainstage season. According to the writer and director, Beasts tells the story of corruption in small town America fueled by one man’s desire for power to control those around him. Garrity is collaborating with members of the PC TDF production staff to mount this original play. Beasts will feature set design and lighting design by Trevor Elliott (technical director), costume design by Maxine Wheelock (costume shop supervisor), and sound design by current PC senior Tim Brown.
