Doubles

Live Bait’s theme for February, “Doubles,” can have many different interpretations, and all are welcome to tell a true story that in any way, shape or form, fits this theme. However, there is another way of working it this month: have you ever shared an experience with a friend, acquaintance or loved one, but you just don’t quite remember it happening the same way?

This month, Live Bait is encouraging double stories. By this we mean if you have a story, any true story, that you experienced with another person, but you each have different perspectives on what happened, you should come up and tell it together. Don’t worry, extra time will be allowed for these double-tellings.

Remember, please: no notes, no rants, no aimless ramblings, no stand-up routines, and there is a six-minute time limit. If you are doing a double, put both your names on the same slip; you will be called together and get nine minutes total.

This February, make it a single or make it a double. Just make it!
