Cocktails and Conversations: Uneven Path Research Release

Cocktails and Conversations: Uneven Path Research Release

Presented by Women's Fund of Rhode Island at Rhode Island State House

WFRI and the Economic Progress Institute are using state budget documents, Rhode Island’s current Standard of Need report, US Census Bureau, public work and block grant data and data from other publicly available resources to complete a refresh and update our 2010 report of the same name. Of particular interest are data on child care assistance, cash assistance, government-funded health insurance, and child support enforcement. Join us for a discussion on the findings of this updated research!

Please also help us in celebrating the premiere of our banners commemorating the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment. These banners will be on display at the event and in the statehouse through February of 2020.

This work is made possible in part through funding and support from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities. The Council seeds, supports, and strengthens public history, cultural heritage, civic education and community engagement by and for all Rhode Islanders.

Food generously donated by Flatbread Company.
