The 1916 Committee welcomes Dublin born and bred guitarist/vocalist Colm O’Brien for an evening of Irish songs and history in the upstairs hall.
The two-set concert will feature background information and songs related to the 1916 Easter Rising followed by a collection of great Irish songs from all different eras. Colm honed his skills as a musician with a number of Dublin bands. Since moving to the US, he has performed, travelled, and recorded with several groups including Uncle Arthur, The Prodigals and Rud Eile. His two solo albums have received critical acclaim. He continues to perform widely and has developed a reputation as a performer of great passion. An evening not to be missed!
