Traditional Folk Songs and Tunes from Ireland and Its Islands. Not to be missed! Robbie Doyle, Sean Sands and Barry Nelson formed Men O’ The West and toured Germany, Denmark and Sweden from ‘.95 to ’99.
Sean Sands started playing traditional Irish folk music in Belfast along with his brother Bobby and Tom Louden in the mid-seventies. By the end of ’81, he became an established solo artist in Boston and NY playing support for the likes of The Wolftones.
Barry Nelson has been a lively, energetic entertainer in the Irish music scene since the late sixties and has performed at concerts, festivals and venues all over the world.
Robbie Doyle has toured nearly all of Europe, Australia, New Zealand and parts of the USA. He plays a “bit of” whistle and bodhran but is best known for his singing voice.
Today, each continues to perform and record while promoting and preserving traditional Irish music and Celtic heritage.
