PVD Writers’ Night will feature seasoned & aspiring Rhode Island writers as they celebrate stories and read their new works of fiction.

Come celebrate Providence’s literary community through stories. These storytellers will whisk you away to well-imagined worlds. Don’t let this evening of fiction and literature come-and-go without you.

Following the author readings, we’ll host a reception. You’re invited to mingle with authors/readers, purchase signed book copies, and enjoy complimentary refreshments.

PVD Writers’ Night is hosted by Alexander Smith, author of “The Perfect Man and Other Stories of the Supernatural.” This event is sponsored by the Mt. Pleasant Community Library and its workshop for adults, “Flash Fiction: Writing the Shortest Story Ever Told.”
