September marks 80 years since the beginning of World War II, and celebrates the International Day of Peace on September 21. Westerly-Pawcatuck is proud to be an International City of Peace, and this month the Artists’ Cooperative Gallery reflects these themes in “Coming Home” – Envisioning Peace, featuring artists Elaine S. Porter and Jane Parillo Rollins. And in a series of very special events celebrating peace throughout the month at the Gallery, the Westerly Library and the Savoy Bookshop and Café.
