Join the Providence Art Club on Saturday, June 22, from 4-6pm for free, public opening receptions to celebrate two new exhibitions. All are welcome, so please feel free to invite your friends.
On view in the Maxwell Mays and Mary Castelnovo Galleries will be our National Open Juried Exhibition. Works for this show were selected by Helena Gomez, Associate Curator of the Museo de Arte de Ponce in Ponce, Puerto Rico. $6,000 in prizes will be awarded at this opening reception and awards ceremony.
Alongside our National Show in our Dodge House Gallery, we will have a two person show of Art Club Members, Designed by Nature featuring Nina Ackmann and Ruth AB Clegg.
Please note that these public openings will conclude promptly at 6pm, as they will be followed by a private function.
These exhibitions will continue through July 19.
The Providence Art Club is located at 11 Thomas Street in Providence, just a five minute walk from Kennedy Plaza as well as the Providence Amtrak Station. Street parking is available nearby on Benefit Street and North Main Street and there is a public parking lot available on the corner of Steeple Street and North Main Street.

The Providence Art Club is conveniently located in the heart of College Hill, just a 5 minute walk from both Kennedy Plaza and the Providence Amtrak Station. Street parking is available nearby on Benefit Street as well as North Main Street. The Club’s parking lots are typically reserved for Art Club Members and their guests, but feel free to contact our gallery staff and they will be happy to help you coordinate your visit.
