a FREE concert of choral music in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Stonewall: because without diversity, harmony can’t exist.
There’s nothing wrong with a beautiful melody, but imagine how much we’d be missing if unison is all there were! If we want harmony, we need diversity. That’s why we’re thrilled to partner with RI Pride to present a FREE concert during the annual Pride festival, celebrating love in all its forms, and highlighting works of LGBTQIA+ composers on the 50th anniversary of Stonewall. Featuring Conte’s “Elegy to Matthew”, and the world premiere of the winning entry in our inaugural composition contest. Made possible with the generous support of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts!
