Annika Henderson is a musician, poet and artist currently based in Berlin. She rose to fame as ANIKA with two highly acclaimed eponymous records, a project that was touring the world. She is also the lead singer of the Dystopian-Pop Mexico City based band Exploded View (founded 2014), who have released 2 full length LPs on Sacred Bones, touring extensively. She is well known as a DJ, too, playing in clubs all over Europe, the US, and Mexico, and also hosts “Do Not Go Gentle”, a radio program on BCR Berlin Community Radio. Furthermore she is seen and heard in poetry events, and explores the world of theatre/performance, as well as experimental cinema.
