The Narragansett Bay Symphony Community Orchestra, Rhode Island’s premier community- based orchestra, will present a concert on Sunday, March 3rd at 3PM in the McVinney Auditorium, 43 Dave Gavitt Way, Providence RI 02903. Join NaBSco and guest conductor, John Masko for an exciting afternoon of spectacular music.
The program’s centerpiece is one of Johannes Brahms’ most famous works, the stunning Symphony No. 3 in F Major, Op. 90. Rhode Island bassist, Joseph Bentley, will be the soloist in Serge Lancen’s Double Bass Concerto. There will also be the world premiere of “The Oneiroi: The Thieves of Lost Dreams” by contemporary composer, Jeremy Bell, conducted by NaBSco member, Edward Bell.
