Please join us for City Year’s annual gala, Starry Starry Night, on May 3, 2019 at the WaterFire Arts Center. This year’s gala will be dedicated to our core value of Service to a Cause Greater than Self. City Year believes that service is a personal decision to dedicate one’s time, energy, and effort to a cause greater than oneself and to make an impact on the lives of others.
 
This year, nearly 60 AmeriCorps members made a pledge to serve for 1,700 hours over 10 months, tutoring and peer mentoring students, while helping to build a positive school culture. Putting on their red jacket and showing up every day reaffirms their commitment to service.
