This year’s annual visiting artist show welcomes the Westerly Weavers. Come meet them, and discover their vibrant, wide-ranging work, at the show’s Opening Reception, Friday, February 1, from 5-8 PM.

Don’t miss Paper Connection Internationals’ Kozo (Mulberry papers) Collage workshop. In this immersive 2-hour workshop you’ll explore the beauty, strength and creative possibilities of using Kozo papers for “painterly” collage. Organic and free-form approaches through cutting, layering and building textures with this amazing paper will inspire artists of all mediums.

Experience the Craft and Art of Weaving Sunday, February 10, from 1 pm to 4 pm
Join us for a hands-on weaving demonstration and workshop led by the Westerly Weavers. Come with a sense of adventure and experience weaving, or just watch as a design appears in the woven cloth. There will be several looms available to try: from free standing to tabletop. In addition to weaving there will be demonstrations on laying up a warp to finishing scarf fringes, plus instruction on how to build a lap loom using a simple picture frame. This event promises to be a fun afternoon for all ages. Cost: $65 includes basic materials fee, and students should plan on bringing additional items.
