As Michelle Cruz’s voice echoes throughout Lippitt House, guests are welcome to listen closely, dance through the grand hall or “step into Providence’s Golden Age” while taking in the spectacular Victorian architecture, art and furnishings. Cruz starts off our 2019 Hunter Music Series season!

Cruz has been recognized locally with awards ranging from Motif’s “Album of the Year” for her first record, The Recovery, regionally as “Best Jazz Female” by the New England Urban Music Awards, and nationally with opportunities to open for The Tonight Show’s The Roots and perform for Jeff Buckley at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, among others.
