While learning about the complexities of chocolate and how to pair it with premium beverages, guests will progress through the charming historic house to experience each tasting presented in its own distinct room lit by candlelight and decorated with roses. Tastings will revolve around award-winning Venezuelan chocolate infused with local ingredients such as herbs, flowers, fruits and spices handcrafted by Aura’s Chocolate Bar and Hearthside resident chef John Scanlon’s ribs and chili prepared with chocolate, paired with wines, stouts and whiskies varying in fruitiness, malt, creaminess, depth, intensity and sparkle to bring out the distinct flavors in harmonious balance, selected by Paul’s Fine Wines & Spirits. Guests will also tour the house museum with costumed guides.
Tickets are $40 per person, $35 for Friends of Hearthside members.
