Nika Gorini, CityArts Program Director, will lead this youth-focused workshop around CityArts’ intentional, prosocial approach to engaging youth in a manner that is constructive to their social/emotional growth and development. We will also discuss how using a Positive Youth Development approach promotes equity and justice in the arts classroom, and helps to build safe spaces. This workshop is for individuals and/or organizations working with students (K-8) who are interested in how to incorporate Positive Youth Development in their classrooms and workspaces.
