Classes and workshops are sponsored by the Julie Adams Strandberg Fund for Dance @ Brown and are free and open to the public. The classes and workshops draw from classical and contemporary modern traditions; jazz; tap; West African dance; improvisation; and Hip-Hop. All levels welcome unless otherwise stated:

• October 6th – Deb Meunier –  a blend of styles with a variety of modern techniques that also draw from classical traditions and jazz
• October 13th — Belle Abuyo – Breaking: Hip Hop Fundamentals – (4:30-6)
• October 20th – Improvisation with Shura Baryshnikov and setGO ensemble
• October 27th – Seydou Coulibaly and Moussa Traore – West African Dance and Music
• November 3rd  – Jessica Pearson – tenets of the dance techniques of Lester Horton, Jose Limon, and Katherine Dunham
• November 10th – Ephrat Esherie – Hip Hop/House
• November 11 – Ephrat Esherie – Hip Hop/House – (SATURDAY) 12:00-2:00
• December 1st – Ali Kenner – a range of approaches, including Safety Release Technique and Laban/Bartenieff principles
• December 2nd – Bill Evans Tap – excerpts from Evans’ original blues tap repertory.  For dancers at the intermediate and advanced levels –  (SATURDAY) 12:00-2:00
