Join your neighbors and meet new friends  at the Wakefield Village Association’s annual Oktoberfest in downtown Wakefield. The event will feature the URI Big Jazz Band, Take it to the Bridge and other live performers, Anna and Elsa from “Frozen,” an authentic beer garden, German food, local artisans, TropiGals dancers, Big Nazo puppets, mascots, The Great Baldini and hula hoopers. Also enjoy RiverFire along the Saugatucket River. A portion of Main Street will be closed to traffic. The event is free, but a $5 per person donation is greatly appreciated.
