LuckyBird Studio was founded in a Providence attic by a former graphic designer and slightly odd-ball mother of two sweetie-boys and a 3-legged cat – a goddess-in-progress who isn’t afraid of color, doesn’t have the patience to knit, and is much better off with a creative outlet to keep the howling wolves at bay. Drawn to working with her hands, Kim's jewelry and home goods combine craftsmanship and love of color and shape. All of LuckyBird Studio’s products are handmade with tender loving care and a neurotic attention to detail and quality. Kim is also the founder of Rhody Craft 100, a seasonal pop-up shop in Pawtucket, RI that sells a carefully curated selection of locally hand- made art and craft. Additionally, RC100 puts on events ranging from the twice-yearly Craftopia {a super-duper day of indie art and craft}, a 65-vendor juried show, to informal networking events for local artisans.
