The mission of the Rhode Island Family Literacy Initiative (RIFLI) is to increase immigrants’ English and career readiness skills necessary to navigate systems, enter and retain employment, transition to postsecondary and training programs and be positive parental models and active citizens. RIFLI is a partnership of Rhode Island’s public libraries that brings together best practices and library resources to provide high performing literacy programs.
