RHD-RI

Since 2004, Resources for Human Development-RI has provided arts-based day therapy to adults with developmental disabilities at our studio in Pawtucket, RI. More recently, RHD-RI has opened a transitional school services agency, which offers community-based activities and employment opportunities to clients too young for adult services, yet in need of supports not offered by their school departments. RHD-RI was founded in 2004 in order to provide people in RI with quality, art-based, day program services.

We provide opportunities for people to create, express, discover and have fun. We believe the people we support possess their own unique artistic vision. Our purpose is to find the means to turn that vision into reality and, ultimately, to share it with the rest of the world. We believe that art allows people the chance to be productive in a truly unique manner.

We firmly believe  in providing the best services possible to the people we support in an environment that values personal freedom and the responsibility that comes with it. Everyday we strive to create an atmosphere where the energy is contagious and creativity can flourish, and the we think the results speak for themselves. At RHD-RI we feel that each day is important, and together, the possibilities are limitless.
