The Inventing Heron Project is in-part sponsored by the National Science Foundation and is a comprehensive career development website made up of a collection of biographies from real individuals talking about their careers and other useful career related information.
It was inspired by an observation that many students do not connect what they’re doing in school to real life and the thought that if we could nurture their career aspirations they would make that connection and in turn become more motivated students.
So far we have collected a handful of videos and over 100 biographies ranging from Astrophysicists to former NFL players.
